Super Slimming Soup Diet That Tastes Great

Posted under by admin on Monday 3 October 2011 at 12:00 am

The one thing that anyone wants in a diet regimen is that it is effective, and is not too hard to follow. Most diets have some hard and fast rules about what to eat and not to each and at some point, some can become boring and tedious and soon, most dieters lose interest. The Soup Diet has some advantages in that it has all the basic tenets of nutrition, and with a little effort, great results can be achieved realistically and quickly. The best advantage of this diet is that there is no hunger. The soup can be consumed anytime to stave off hunger pangs, and it tastes great as well.

To make a basic “slimming soup”, you want to start with a low sodium, non-fat broth of either vegetable or chicken. These two are kinder to the digestive tract. Add cabbage, broccoli, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and other root vegetables such as beets, rutabaga, and any of those veggies that you think you like. Season with natural herbs such as parsley, thyme, red pepper, garlic, and basil and cook until it becomes the consistency of a thick soup. One ingredient I would steer clear of is potato. Right now, it may be too many carbs in the dieting process. I want to suggest adding spinach, kale, and even some hot peppers for fat-burning.

Here comes the dieting part. Drink as much of the slimming soup as you want. Eat two balanced meals of high protein that is not prepared with frying, or the use of oil for its preparation, unless it is a teaspoon or two of butter and that is it. Avoid gravies, and heavy sauces. Avoid junk foods and sugar unless it is pure cane, or moderate amounts of honey. Finally, use whole grain pasta once or twice a week. Ten to fourteen days of this regimen will show excellent results, guaranteed. If you crave sugar, berries, or some melon is fine.

Thirty minutes of exercise three times a week will get you where you want to be and helps you stay motivated.
